Perspectives: Special event for the Launch of the Exhibition Catalog Moï Ver/Moshe Raviv: Modernism in Transition
For the first time in Israel, the Tel Aviv Museum of Art presents a comprehensive solo exhibition of Moshe Vorobchik-Raviv (1904–1995), the photographer, painter, and graphic designer also known as Moï Ver. His work was rooted in the modernist perceptions of his time, responding to the social, national, and political changes that shaped his life. His art is characterized by a distinctive and personal visual language. These themes and more will be discussed by the event's participants.
To mark the launch of the exhibition's catalog, a unique discussion will take place between the exhibition curator and three Israeli photographers. They will reflect on selected works from the exhibition through their personal perspectives.
Speakers:
Dr. Rona Sela, Curator of the exhibition.
